Lake Kawaguchi
Among the Fuji Five Lakes, Lake Kawaguchi has the longest shoreline and is situated in the lowest location.
It is the second largest lake among the Fuji Five Lakes, with a depth of 14.6 meters! In the middle of the lake floats a small island called ‘Unoshima.’ Additionally, places like Ubuyagasaki are popular spots to enjoy the spectacular view of Mount Fuji, with beautiful scenery spreading out at locations like Chigasaki, Komagari Cape, and Nagasaki.
This lake is designated as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site under the theme ‘Mount Fuji – Source of Faith and Art.
