Mt.Shakushi Gateway Camp
"Mt.Shakushi Gateway Camp" is a glamping facility opened in early summer 2019 in Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is conveniently located about 1 hour and 30 minutes driving from central Tokyo, and it is a wonderful spot with a view of the magnificent Mt. Fuji in the front and the Southern Alps in the distance.
Surrounded by trees, the location is perfect for experiencing nature firsthand while being soothed by the chirping of birds and the sounds of insects. It can also be used as a base camp where you can easily enjoy trekking to Mt. Shakushi and other activities in the surrounding area.

Enjoy the gigantic Mt. Fuji in front
"Mt.Shakushi Gateway Camp" is in an excellent location where you can enjoy the excellent view of Mt. Fuji in front from anywhere within the premises. It is also recommended to enjoy the view while sipping tea at the table outside your tent.

Photogenic night scenery
After sunset, the beautiful silhouette of Mt. Fuji is intertwined with the city lights to make for a photogenic night scenery. Visitors can enjoy taking pictures early in the morning, during the day, and from dusk to night.

Five Tent Types
"Mt.Shakushi Gateway Camp" offers five different types of dome tents.
Three "luxury four bed" tents with a capacity of 4 people, four "Deluxe Twin" tents with a capacity of 2 people,
and three "Premium Twin" tents with a capacity of 2 people.
There are two "Glampsuite Luxury" tents and two "Glampsuite Deluxe" tents that were opened in 2022!

The guests staying in the "Dome Tent" can use the private open-air bath with a magnificent view.
