Arakurayama Sengen Park/Chureito Pagoda
Famous view spot where you can enjoy the spectacular views of Mt. Fuji, cherry blossoms, and a five-storied pagoda all at once

Arakurayama Sengen Park is well-known as one of the best scenic spots in to view Mt. Fuji which represents Japan. The park is located at halfway up the Mt. Arakura, and from the observation deck at the end of the 398-step stairs, you can enjoy a view of cityscape of Fujiyoshida below, and beyond that, you can view beautiful Mt. Fuji whose mountain ridge spreads symmetrically to another. Especially during the cherry blossom season in spring, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the combination of Mt. Fuji, the five-storied pagoda, and cherry blossoms, which are the icons representing Japan. The attraction is not limited to spring, the harmony of the park's natural surroundings and Mt. Fuji, which changes its appearance with each season has created a beautiful scenery.

※Buses will not be allowed to enter the parking lot due to the narrow roads around the park. Please get on and off the bus in front of Shimoyoshida Station.

※Every year, when the cherry blossoms are in bloom at Arakurayama Sengen Park, parking fee collection will be requested (1,000 yen for passenger car and 3,000 yen for bus).
